The filter media has greater protection from contamination during service and installation than traditional cartridge style elements, further enhancing Donaldson’s high initial efficiency. Donaldson’s P570248 free water detection filter has been constructed with super absorbent media to remove water efficiently at high flow rates and help guard ethanol free fluids from free water. Spin-on elements capture your fuels contaminant within the replaceable can, eliminating the manual removal and cleaning of contamination usually required with fixed infrastructure. The P570248 spin-on elements can be configured for high flow rates with minimal pressure drop.
